My two latest books are titled Spiritual Jam Session: A Weekly Devotional for Classic Rock Fans and Eleven Dreams. The former was primarily written for Christians 50 and older who know they need to spend more time in the Word but still love their Classic Rock. The latter, a Christian novel, features protagonist Sam Derwecker, an agnostic sportswriter desperate to learn if God exists, and if so, to determine why He doesn’t intervene in people’s lives to keep horrible things from happening. Sam challenges God to reveal His existence and explain why He allows so much pain and suffering. God responds by giving Sam 11 dreams in which Sam discovers what would have occurred in his life had God not intervened.

My previous work was a three-volume, soft science fiction novel titled Bamboo Harvester: The Unauthorized, Unorthodox & Unbridled Biography of Mister Ed. It’s a genre-bender featuring aliens, time travel, historical fiction, and a talking horse. Ultimately, it’s a story about an alien civilization determined to escape its doomed planet, the blind luck of a down-and-out Hollywood producer, and the unharnessed spirit of a horse who bridges the gaps. The novel, set primarily in the 1960s, blends drama with humor, seriousness with sarcasm, and conspiracy with cooperation. I’m pretty sure you’ll laugh, I think you might cry, and I know you’ll find yourself rooting for a mischievous horse who learns he is not the center of the universe.
